Today, I am officially done with the Whole 30 challenge. This past month was not nearly as difficult as I thought it was going to be. I feel so much better mentally and physically. My energy levels have skyrocketed and I feel my pants zipping up with ease now.
I have officially dropped 9 pounds over the course of the 30 days. While this is less than I felt initially I should have dropped, it was so effortless that I am good with that number. A loss is a loss and the real reward was the progress I have made on becoming more healthy and just eating real food instead of all of the processed crappola that I had been.
For the first time, I feel the energy to workout, and have been much, much happier every day overall. I know I can continue this journey and I will be spending the next few weeks in the reintroduction phase- figuring out if there’s anything I am truly sensitive to so that I know to eliminate (or at least severely limit) it from my diet.
Thanks for following me on this journey, the support was one of the factors that made this time a success!
